Mashup

We've been working on our mash-ups for over a week now, and we are done. My favorite mash-up was Santiago's. He really put lots of effort and time into it. It really shows, because his transitions where perfect, and all of the songs he used sounded great together. The beat was steady and nothing was like random. Anyways, my song, I think, was good. Although it has it's flaws. But I did put a lot of time into making it, and finding the right songs. I really do hope that
people like mine. But if not, well then how are you suppose to get better without failing? Right? In conclusion, I had lot of fun making this, and I´m looking forward to making another one.

Air Pollution

Air Pollution is one of the worst thing in this planet. It's not only bad for and persons health, but it is also bad for animals, and plant. Imagine a world where nothing is green, the air is full of gray smoke. Imagine a world where it's hard to inhale non polluted air. Imagine a world where theres no plants or animals. Can you imagine it? Well, if you can't then don't worry. With the way us humans have been behaving you should be able to experience it in no time. Convinced? Well if you're not, let me explain to you more in depth of how bad air pollution can be.

Lets start talking of how bad air pollution can be for an individuals health. First off, when you inhale polluted air you are inhaling chemicals, things that are really harmful to your body. That means that when you inhale polluted air you are basically damaging your lungs. A few ways that your lungs can be hurt are that you can get cancer, you can get asthma, and your lungs can swell (which makes it harder to breath). You know what else you would find interesting? It's the fact that recent studies have shown that air pollution affect your heart more, than your lungs. That's because when you breath in bad air your heart beat slows down. It happens because your lung swells putting pressure on your heart, and making it work slower. Also, it could cause a heart attack, which I assume you don't want one.

Now lets talk about how air pollution can affect both animals and plant. First of all, it's really obvious why animals are affected by air pollution. If you don't know why, then heres the answer. They also do have a respiratory system, a circulatory system, a nervous system, and a digestive system. In other word they are very similar to humans, which means they can get a diseases in their lungs. Moving on to plants. Plant are affected by air pollution in the way that if there is smog blocking out the sun they won't be able to photosynthesis. This will lead to them dying out.

In conclusion, air pollution as you can see is a big problem. If all the animals and all of the plant wipe out because of it, what happen to the civilians? Well the answer is simple there would be no civilians. That's because all of our resources would be dead, and useless. Now tell me, did you change your mind? If it didn't well then don't worry. Just do what you've been doing for a couple more years and you'll see you will regret it. So i really hope you help the world by not polluting as much or at all.

Rotoball

I've been thinking about this rotoball project for a while and I finally figured out what i wanted to do. First, the ball will come in from the left, to a bed room were I will be. Second, I will start playing with the ball for a while. After that I will stretch the ball and turn it into a pair of headphones. Also, I will be rocking my head back and forth. Furthermore, I will stretch the headphones and turn them back into a ball. I will play a little more with it, and eventually stretch it again, turning it into a drum set. Next, as I'm rocking out on the drums, the background will gradually change into a stage ( like if it where a concert). At the end I will turn the drum set back into a ball, and throw it out to my right. In conclusion, I think this project will come out great, and it will also be a very fun experience.

My Future Artifact

The process that i went through to make this future artifact was kind of challenging and confusing. That's because I'm not a pro at using photoshop. Although it was kind of hard for me to do this I was able to finish it, and i think i did a pretty good job. The first step to making this artifact was to find a picture of what I wanted to turn into a bubble. In this case it was a basketball. Second, I had to find a picture of a bubble (this was easy). Third, I had to put both pictures together and desaturated the bubble (the bubble was overlayed). Fourth, I had to copy the bubble layer and put it on top of the already existing one with a lower opacity. Fifth, I had to Cut out the lines out of the basketball, mirror it, and then put them to overlay one with a slightly higher opacity then the other one. Sixth, I had to extract the basketball from the background, and repaint the background to the color i wanted. Seventh, I got another source of a bubble for a reflection, and placed it on top of my bubble basketball but with a really low opacity. Eight, I lowered the contrast just to give it a bit more of an effect. Now that I've told you the steps I went through to make this object, I will talk about the things I didn't, and did like about it. The things that I disliked were that It was kind of hard, and the fact that the tutorial wasn't really that clear. On the other hand there were many things I liked, some examples are that it was fun, I learned new thing, and I thought the final product was cool. Also, if i could change anything from my project I think id leave it the same. That's because I don't think i did a bad job at it, I actually think It was good.

What I liked the most of from this project was the fact that it looks realistic. Also, it looks really hard to make. Not only that but I can tell that he really put a lot of effort and time into making this. Furthermore, I can see a few photoshop skills that I would like to learn. An example of this is that I would like to learn how he made the cracks, he made it in a certain way so that they only show on the rock and not on the cat. Not only that but I would also like learn how he made it look like a drawing.

My artifact is suppose to be the future of architecture, It's suppose to be the a machine that will turn anything into a non popping bubble. Although I like this object, I don't think It could be invented during my lifetime. I think that because so far there's nothing such as a bubble that wont pop. Also, I think that it is way to hard to make a machine that transforms something into something else. In the other hand, If it was invented during my lifetime I would get it because It sounds like lots of fun. Not only that but I would make a lot of things into bubble just to decorate my room a bit more. This artifact will benefit the people who are getting it, in the way that it will offer does people a wider variety of decoration. In conclusion, this artifact will benefit designers and architects the most.

1. This chart is useful because the lines show how I've improved or unimproved. The colors make it easier to know which score is which.


2. This second is unique. It accurately tells me each one of my score. Another reason why i chose this is because it's easy to identify what is what.
3. I think this is the best chart because it is very accurate, easy to understand, and it shows me how much I've gone up or down in between scores.

Cristmas Break!

This Christmas break was really fun (except for when i got sick), and weird at the same time. It's the first time I stayed here in Puerto Vallarta except for one very busy day. The first two days of vacation I hanged out at Santiago's house. It was fun, we played basketball, video games, and we even went to the gym. After does two days i went back home and rest for a few days. Once i felt full of energy i went out with some friends, and did this for another couple of days. Two days before Christmas i went to guadalajara for christmas shopping. It was really tiering since i spent all day walking around the mall.

Christmas eve came and my stomach was feeling really bad,when dinner time came I threw up about six time (not pleasant). The next day (Christmas day) I was feeling a bit better, I got really cool stuff like: clothes, drum microphones, a musci program, and music interphace. After a few more days I was feeling better, I would just hang out with friend. Later on this Christmas break one of my best friends came to Puerto Vallarta to visit (Mark), I was able to hang out with him for a long time, but later on that day i had to go back home to celebrate my dads birthday. New years eve came, and I went to Sebastians house to celebrate, I had a blast! Now im hear at school missing vacations.

Stop Motion Examples

After watching the videos in moodle I would define a stop motion video as a piece of art were you take a bunch of picture, and put them together. I would think someone would make a video in this maner to challenge them selves. Also, it looks like it is alot of fun, and time consuming. Not only that but the finished product is amaizing. In addition to this it gives an incredible effect to the viewer. My guess of how they make the videos is that first, they get the materials. Next they make something, and take a picture. They repeat this a bunch of times. Next they put all the pictures together to make a video. My favorite example of a stop motion video was the post stick one, and another cool one i like is. In conclusion i really enjoyed watching all does videos, they were all great.

Watercolor Tree Interpretation

This Friday, November 5, 2010 we went into English class and made some watercolor paintings of a tree being struck by lightning. I didn’t expect we were going to do this at all, but it was fun. My drawing consisted of a thin tree trunk being hit by a lightning, grass, a lot of leaves on the tree, fire, dark clouds, and a dark background. I chose making my drawing like that for some specific reasons. First, I decided to make a thin trunk because it was going to be easier to draw considering I don’t have great drawing skills. Second, I made a dark background and clouds to represent a heavy lightning storm. Third, I made a lot of leaves on the tree because that’s the way i like them, I don't really enjoy looking at dead trees. Fourth, I made the tree catch in fire on the spot were the lightning is hitting it. That's because when lightning hits a tree I would expect it too catch on fire. Also, it makes it look like if the lightning is actually hitting the tree. Fifth, I made some grass around the tree. I did this just to use the space up a bit more. Not only that but it also makes the drawing look better, or at least that’s what I think. Not only that but i think that tree in general represents pain. That’s because the tree is a person who got hit (lightning), and is in pain (fire). Lastly if I could redo something from my drawing better I think I would of done the tree again. I just didn't really like how i made it, it’s to simple. In conclusion I had a really good time making my tree, and I hope we make something similar to this in the future.

Medium Selection

It was very hard for me to choose my medium. That's because i had so many options to choose from, like: Plasticine, drawing, Lego, paper, etc. Anyways, my final decision was plasticine. I made this decision because I think I will have fun, and it will go better with what I'm doing. Also, I really enjoy doing stuff with plasticine. Not only that but it is really easy to move it slowly, and that is going to look better in my stop-motion video. The only thing i think is going to be hard is making the details in on it. In conclusion I think my video will come out great, and I hope I have lots fun doing it.

William Kentridge

William Kentridges work makes me feel weird. His work is really abstract and random. I say this because if you see his videos they don't make much sense. But the way he makes it is unique and awsome. One example of this is that he makes one scene were a volcano is exploding, and right after that he makes one of a guy sleeping. That is very weird. If i were to describe this piece of art i would say creative, unique, beautifull, and powerful. I think that would describe his work best.

You might think doing what he does is simple, but it's not at all. First, i would guess he gets a piece of paper and pencil. Then he makes a drawing and takes a picture. After that he erases a part of the picture and makes it move a bit, and takes a picture. He repeats this over, and over again. Not only that but once he is done, he puts all the pictures in the computer. Then he puts them together in order, and turns it into a movie file. As the final result he gets what you are seeing. In conclusion i think this is not as easy as someone would expect, and you need to be really pacient to be able to do this.

Mash-Up

A mash-up is the combination of two or more songs. A good mash-up has two or more great songs. Also it should have the best parts of the songs. Not only that but the songs are supose to flow and sound good together. Some people think that mash-up artist arent real musicians since they dont make the songs, they just put them together. I disagree with this statement. Thats because they actually do creat a new song out of a combination of does songs. Also they also put a lot of work to make the songs flow together, and sound good together. In addition to this they also creat a steady beat thats not in does songs, thats another reason why they are real artist. In conclusion i think that making a mash up can be challenging and very fun in some ways.

MAP Testing

Last week we had MAP testing for the third time now. I still feel annoyed with it, especially this time because i had to redo it, all because the system had an error. We had three different test and they consisted of Reading, Language, and Math. Not only that but i think i didn't do that well in them, except in my math test because i broke my record in that one. Also i had to redo my language test when i was about to finish and that really annoyed me, so i guessed every question the second time i did it, In other words i think i wasn't happy with my scores. Not only i dont like taking these test but i also don't like the schedule, I think they should give us a break of like three minutes at least because when you get close to done you feel under pressure, and you start doing it fast without thinking. In conclusion i think we shouldn't have these test, but i do get the school needs it to help us.

8 Power Point themes

Today i saw a video about a comedian that explains how power point can be annoying and badly used, so i am gonna go over the 8 points and explain them clearly. The first point is to not write every word you are gonna say in a presentation. That point is very clear as it is, but what it really means is that you are not trying to replace yourself from giving a presentation and your only using key words. Second, is spelling which means to go over word that are underlined and spell everything right. Third, comes bullets which is not to make to many bullets because bullets work to make people look at that point specifically, so you can really put a bullet on every thing you say or you will lose audience. Next up are the bad color schemes, what this means is that some people choose like a black background and choose a dark color font and this is a big mistake because you can read what there is in the presentation, so what you need to do is put colors that are completely opposite in the color wheel and that will make the word really come out. Knot only that but there's also too many slides in some power point presentations, what this means is that some people put to many power point slides and that makes it to boring and to much information. Another common mistake is too much data in one slide which make it harder to read, so what you want to do is pretty simple just don't put too much data, put data that is able to be read. Also some people think having effects is cool but it can be very distracting and people wont listen to what you say, instead they will just stare at the effects, to make this not happen just keep it simple and don't put to many effects. Last but defenately not least is font, which is choosing an easy to read font because somke people choose hard sybals to read and it is very confusing.

Biography

Molacio was born in a cloud the year 30000000 and was born the day 1140 of the month randomnes. Molacio is like an alien looking thing that has no arms and no legs but does has eyes 10 eyes, a mouth, and ears, hes basically just a piece of blue slime that moves and talks. Molacio likes to fly in his flying carpet on his free time. Knot only that but he also plays drums even though he has no arms and legs. Also he has been president of the planet ratatat 20 times for about 112 year each time. He also has 5 brothers his brothers names are a, b, c, d, and z. Also he can teleport from one place to another by driving there. Lastly he came to planet earth in the year of 50000000 and got shot in the head and died but some how he is still alive.

New Facebook

New Facebook
Facebook has changed there security measures. I understand that you can choose the people that can see your post, pictures, videos, and other stuff. You can choose that only your friends can see it, or friends of friends can see it you can also choose that anyone can see them. I think they where created to keep your stuff more private and not everyone in the world can see them. Also theirs been some kidnapping this days and that will help prevent it a little bit. I think that's a really good idea and its better know that you don't get random comments from people you don't know in your post. Knot only that but i also think that i can put up more pictures because that way random people wont be watching them thanks to the new rule. Yes i think they will be successful because its gonna make it easier for everybody to do anything and to post anything. Also its gonna be successful because more people are gonna start using Facebook know that they know that its safer.
Its personally gonna make me want to put up more pictures because i know its safer. Also i am gonna feel free to put up my post and not feel stalked if i do. In conclusion this is a huge step for Facebook and thanks to this we will prevent more kidnaps.

In the end of this quarter we have been learning about dream weaver.Ive learned how to put pictures up and how to make my own web page.Know lets talk about what i want to learn.I want to learn how to put a background, and videos.Knot only i want to learn that but i also want to use it some time in my own web page.Also we have just learned how to put videos and background.So I already know what i wanted to learn.After all i hope it really helps me making my web page.

Last week there was map testing wich was kind of annoyng becouse we barely came back from vacations.It felt annoyng becouse i mean we bearly came back from vacations without working and without refreshing our minds. Knot only that but i was also nervous becouse i hadent been prepared and i was thinking i would do bad. Anyways i felt really wierd.

I think i did kind of good on my map testing. Like i bearly came back from vacations without working i think i didnt do that bad to start school again. Also i think i improved in some exams but like in one i whent a bit down.In conclusion i did fine.

If i could change anything about map testing i would change alot. I would change the test format becouse it looks like really boring. Also i wouldent make people do it when they come back from vacations becouse they dont really learn anything during vacations. And i would do them shorter becouse theyr anoyng of how long they are.
